An unbeliever was flying over a mountain range...and taking pictures of the snow and land. When he developed the pictures and saw , not snow and land, but saw something that changed his life forever...
Sue sent me an email to ask what was there....when I looked, I instantly remembered seeing this picture when I was a child. What a beautiful image....we just can't always see the Presence who is always there....
Jen, the whole point in my emailing you was so your dad wouldn't know I was such a blind fool and couldn't figure it out! HAHA! :) Just kidding.
I kind of figured it was Jesus, and very vaguely saw the bearded face ... I guess Jen had the upper-hand, having seen this more than once over the years. :)
I have a similar story to share -- 11 years ago, when my brother Jim's wife was pregnant with their first child (and first grandchild in our family), they decided to announce it to our entire family in a "creative" way at a Memorial Day picnic in our backyard. Everyone was there -- Don and myself, my brothers (minus one, living in IL), my parents, and grandparents who were still alive at the time. Jim whipped out the sonogram picture and handed it to my grandmother, only saying: "Here, Gram -- take a look."
She studied it for a minute and then burst out (she could be quite loud for a diminutive woman) "Oh, I know what this is! It's the FACE OF JESUS!" We all roared with laughter ... I guess in some way, though, she was right!
